It is important to note that every government dispensation comes with its diverse opportunities. Every generation do have a particular boom that uplift a select few who are able to see the potential and tap into the goldmine by adequately preparing for same even when others are barely blind to it.
Nigeria has been attracting the world all over as it remains a very viable spot to invest in across the globe. Little wonder the United States and the United Kingdom have been so particular about maximizing on the next government so they will have their share of the largess in our land.
Over the years, huge structures have sprung up across the land. Some buildings and edifices you can’t
explain the architectural concept but their beauty is too good to ignore and likewise, we have witnessed dynamic ideas being transformed into winning brands, projects connecting the high and mighty and businesses employing hundreds of Nigerian youth in such a little while.
I will always preach the gospel of Nigeria as still a very formidable spot to plant your hard earned money in whatever capacity as long as you are not gambling with it.
My interaction with business people on a daily basis show the amount of pleasure and satisfaction with the endless opportunities and smiles they enjoy in their businesses. Most interesting is the plan, urge, vision, hope, desires and push for more in them.
Two partners who run a fish farming business in Epe under the Agric YES project of Babatunde Fashola, SAN, governor of Lagos state, started with 500 fingerlings at their first season and moved to 700 at the next and are currently on their third with 1,000 fingerlings in less than one year and speaking with them, I see the urge to do more, to have more, to know more, to get more money.
Due to shortage of funds, they can only harvest every four months, but would really want to acquire more land so they can harvest every month.
MyhouseofScents.com has been distributing first class perfumes across Lagos and other states and is really pushing for more to transform the perfume industry in Nigeria.
Fresh appealing ideas keep pouring out from different people doing great things and wanting to solve problem for the nation.
With the new government across most states of the nation, there would be need for a lot of things; projects and activities would commence in full force as what has been paused would play on. Governance that has been on low key would kick-start again.
Late last week, the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan signed the 2015 budget of over 4.4trillion naira, the question is how much of this would get to you? Would it be #1,000, #1million or #1Billion or even zero naira?
It is important you position yourself carefully so you can benefit from this largess. Do not stay afar off worrying and complaining. Walk up to where you need to go. Meet who you need to meet. Register that company you have been nursing in your head.
Take time to write that business plan. Work! Work!! And Work hard.
Life is not a bed of roses see amidst the plenty in the land.
Look through the 2015 budget and see where the monies are going. Which of them can you pursue? Which of the money would want to come your way? Of what can you deliver excellently well if given the opportunity now?
May 29th is just next week. Know that it is an opportunity for you to succeed again.
You will succeed.
