VACANCY: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Summary
The jobholder will be responsible for driving the sales volume of the company, managing existing and potential clients, and key accounts.


This position will require the successful applicant to identify/anticipate clients' needs and recommend solutions to maximize selling opportunities while promoting the company’s brand, including its products and services to customers (prospective or current) and to the wider market.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
• Identify, develop and follow up on key accounts
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities.
• Win and retain business.
• Create opportunities to close out sales.
• Be responsible for achieving sales objectives short term, medium term and long term.
• Prepare sales reports as well as analysis of competitor’s activities as well as relevant market development and proposing pre-emptive counter measures.
• Responsible for evolving account development plan and relationship management process for accounts in sector of assignment guided by the signed service level agreement.
• Develop good relationship management processes with both existing accounts and prospective customers.
• Maintain quality and healthy sales pipeline, capturing all opportunities.
• Market intelligence gathering.

The Person
• 3-5 years relevant sales & marketing experience in the media industry or FMCG industry.

• Good presentation skills
