Why not do Business?

I have worked in a bank and know what it is like to have a job, doing business makes so much difference in all ramifications, there is totally no similarity in both

Below are reasons and benefits people want to work at all cost:

1. For Experience.

I know you get experience when you work in a corporate firm, but same experience you get in your one man office as every rule of business and business principles apply. So, that should not be a reason for you not to start your business instead of wasting time working for others.

2. Want to Save Money

People have come to work because they want to save for their business. To those I've known, they've not been able to achieve this. You save more money when you do your business. The salary you earn is what you spend to meet the demands of the job, dressing, daily transport, daily meal at work etc, at the end of the day, you have nothing or very little to keep. My wife save more than me who work in a bank, because she runs her business.

3. Business is Time Consuming

If business is time consuming, how long do you spend at office daily, apart from the 8-5pm work shift, you have to wake up early, leave the house early, at times, close late, get into traffic and get home even later than expected. All of these are not so in business. So, what the heck?

4. Want to Meet People

No job gives you the opportunity to meet people as much as your business. The people you meet on the job are not your people, but the job’s people, when you are gone, you are gone, only your relationship may remain, of which only about 1% of those people care about you. But the people you meet on your job are concern about you, because you are meeting their needs, when you are not around, they are not fine, because they have no other person.

5. They want to be respected

People prefer to work in a bank on the Island earning #20,000 while they live on the mainland, rather than sell recharge card in front of their house, where they’ll make #2,000 profits daily guaranteed. People here like to deceive themselves trying to impress others who really do not care about them. Doing your business, packaging and promoting it so well, gives you the best kind of respect any human being deserves as it makes you the lord of your life.

6. Wants Profit from the big Company

Do not be deceived, whatever profit you get in the big firms, cannot be compared to the profit you can and will make in your business. I’ve always thought; can you make a million naira jackpot on a job,. Your response is as right as mine, but you can in your business. I know people who have and every business people really can. Only one breakthrough makes the difference.

Do not wait until you grow grey hairs, put your brain to work and get the real breath of life rather than waste your time, energy and gifts undermining your potentials. Get up and work.

NEVER forget that business is not for everyone, but if you know and you are sure, you have the ability to do business, waste no time. Now is the best time to START.
